much of it.
"How to use your blood to power you." Lauralae almost smiles, the shadows across her face making it seem more dangerous and demonic. "To suffocate your foes, to empower your existing resource, to use it in ritual, to harm the world around you or strengthen it."
Harry isn't sure he ought to learn that sort of magic. Back home, where
it's not frowned upon, it's expressly forbidden, and he's not sure if he's
quite willing to make that leap. Then again, he thinks about having used
blood magic in the past and reasons he might as well.
Typical shardholder, she thinks, afraid to bask in their strength and accept all that they have themselves. Lips pursed, she gives herself a moment of thought before she nods her head.
"I return to the North in September. I will train you then."
He'll also have to tinker a bit with the spells he knows to make sure
they're useable by someone without a wand. Maybe another, similar focus
would work? It's almost as if instead of using runes to guide their magic,
a wizard uses a wand. Maybe.
